The Ford Motor Company Fund Education Center at Gettysburg was officially opened today as part of the grand opening of the new Museum and Visitor Center at Gettysburg National Military Park. The Education Center was made possible by a $3 million grant from Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services, the philanthropic arm of Ford Motor Company.

Kate Voegele, recording artist of the new hit song “99 Times,” is asking teens to write their own special songs that send a message about the importance of safe driving behavior. Vehicle crashes remain the No. 1 killer of teens in America, with teens accounting for three times as many fatal accidents as other drivers.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recently put this year’s roster of full-size crew-cab pickups through its 2011 “Top Safety Pick” testing, and just one Detroit truck earned that much-coveted recognition: The Ford F-150 SuperCrew. Check out an all new Ford F-150 at Sound Ford.

Although it’s not here in the U.S. just yet, the all-new Ford C-MAX has gotten off to a strong start in Europe. Sales and orders for the C-MAX have topped 100,000 since its launch late last year.
