A battery-electric Ford Focus will appear tonight, Friday, Sept. 18 on “The Jay Leno Show” (NBC, Monday through Friday, 10-11 p.m. ET) in a segment they call “Green Car Challenge.” The battery-electric Ford Focus will be used throughout the first season of the show, driven by celebrity guests who accept the challenge.

Thousands of images dating to the earliest days of Ford Motor Company are being hauled out of the Ford archives and licensed for sale for the first time.
The 2.0-liter engine coming early next year to the North American version of the 2012 Ford Focus will be one of the first on the market to combine the technology of gasoline direct injection (DI) with twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) and E85 flex fuel capability.
