FIESTA ‘AGENTS’ ARE HEAVY HITTERS IN SOCIAL MEDIA

As a part of the Fiesta Movement, Ford’s new platform to promote the 2011 Fiesta coming to the United States, the chosen agents will drive a Fiesta for up to six months. Agents will bring along millions of consumers on their “missions” each month by creating content about the experiences for their social networks. Agents also will provide valuable feedback to Ford in preparation for the launch of the 2011 Fiesta in the United States next year.

FORD-LICENSED PRODUCTS MAKE HOT SUMMER TOYS

Some of this year’s hottest summer toys are Ford official licensed products. Although thousands of items – from t-shirts, caps and jackets to desk accessories, wall art and fragrances – bear the name of a Ford brand, toy manufacturers represent the majority of the company’s 300 licensees.

ONE-OF-A-KIND FORD MUSTANG AV-X10 “DEARBORN DOLL” TO BE AUCTIONED AT WORLD’S GREATEST AVIATION CELEBRATION

Ford Motor Company created a truly one-of-a-kind vehicle, the Mustang AV-X10 “Dearborn Doll,” to be sold at auction during the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) 2009 AirVenture Oshkosh, the world’s greatest aviation celebration. Ford is the exclusive automotive partner with EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and all of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Young Eagles organization. EAA AirVenture Oshkosh will be held from July 27 to Aug. 2 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Ford’s distinctive all-new vehicle – the 2009 Ford Flex—got some heavy attention on the red carpet as part of the 2008 So So Def Summerfest Weekend Celebrity Bowling Tournament. The event, sponsored by Ford, brought out some of the music industry’s hottest stars for an evening packed with celebrities and tastemakers. So So Def President and Super Producer Jermaine Dupri, R&B Singer and Songwriter Neyo, Hip-Hop Heavyweight Nelly and Celebrity Car Customizer Funkmaster Flex were just some of the attendee’s of the Atlanta event.

Ahoy, Ahoy, Ahoy; Attendees of the Ninth Annual Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage Cruise will find more than lounge chairs and an Olympic size swimming pool aboard the cruise’s ship. In fact, they’ll find the new 2009 Ford Flex parked in the pool deck area of this luxurious cruise ship. This marks Flex’s world debut aboard a cruise and will also be the first time that most attendees will get a chance to get intimate with Ford’s newest vehicle.
