FIESTA MOVEMENT AGENTS SURPASS 1 MILLION MILES, SHOW THAT THEY GO HAND-IN-HAND WITH ADVENTURE

Fiesta Movement agents have traveled more than 1 million miles, and they surpassed that mark as they were completing their adventure-themed missions for September. These missions weren’t easy, but they were definitely fun and unusual. Agents tried their hand at racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, went sailing in Chicago with Outside Magazine and even experienced what zero gravity feels like.

FORD’S NEW FIESTA TO DEBUT AT L.A. AUTO SHOW; FIESTA AGENTS BEGIN FINAL MONTH OF MISSIONS

Ford’s rollout of its next generation of small cars will hit an important milestone when the new Fiesta is revealed in December at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The reveal of the North American-based Ford Fiesta will also mark the culmination of the first phase of the Fiesta Movement.

July missions had agents immersing themselves in the world of style and design, and pushing the limits of creativity. Whether agents were getting a tattoo, using Fiesta as an inspiration for a makeover or outfitting their Fiesta in one-of-a-kind car wrap, these trendsetters showed off their passion for design – and fun. They’ve also generated more than 15.5 million consumer impressions through various social media platforms, including YouTube, Twitter and Flickr, demonstrating just how much reach these agents have.

FIESTA AGENTS LEND A HAND FOR AUGUST MISSIONS

Four months into their adventures, the Fiesta agents’ August missions are taking them in a new direction – as volunteers. Whether spending time at the Smithsonian Institute, delivering food for Meals on Wheels or helping build playgrounds for KaBOOM, agents are pitching in to give back. To jump-start enthusiasm for the missions, actor Mario Lopez took a Ford Fiesta filled with sports equipment to a Boys and Girls Club in the Los Angeles area.

FORD FIESTA FASTEST AT X GAMES QUALIFYING

The Ford Fiesta debut at the X Games was memorable as Kenny Brack and Tanner Foust powered their production based Fiesta rally cars to the top of the speed charts in seeding for Sunday’s X Games 15 Rally Competition. Ten-time X Games medalist Brian Deegan driving in his first X Games rally event was fourth overall, a mere six-hundredths of a second behind his arch rival and 2008 X Games rally champion Travis Pastrana, who was third.

Hugh Weber always has been a social person, but in the last 10 years he’s taken that to the extreme. He’s become actively engaged online, even starting a Web site dedicated to “dudes” becoming dads. So the Fiesta Movement seemed like a natural fit.
