The Queen made a wish and Ford Motor Company delivered. Twenty-year-old NASCAR phenom Colin Braun brought award-winning musician and actress Queen Latifah a 2010 Ford Mustang and schooled her in how to drive the iconic muscle car like a pro. Latifah, already a proud owner of a ’65 Mustang, wished to drive the car in the extended music video for her new song “Fast Cars.”

The Ford Fiesta debut at the X Games was memorable as Kenny Brack and Tanner Foust powered their production based Fiesta rally cars to the top of the speed charts in seeding for Sunday’s X Games 15 Rally Competition. Ten-time X Games medalist Brian Deegan driving in his first X Games rally event was fourth overall, a mere six-hundredths of a second behind his arch rival and 2008 X Games rally champion Travis Pastrana, who was third.

Drivers trained in mileage-maximizing techniques such as smooth acceleration and coasting to red lights were able to get an extraordinary 1,445.7 miles out of a single tank of gas during a fund-raising effort in Washington, D.C. that concluded today. They did it by averaging 81.5 miles per gallon in an off-the-showroom floor, non-modified 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid, the most fuel-efficient midsize car in North America – nearly doubling its U.S. certified mileage.
